Facebook Facelift Coming Soon? Shocking!

The most obvious change is the top navigation bar, which puts an emphasis on the search function, and moves alerts to icons next to the Facebook logo (similar to leaked shots we've seen before). You'll also notice that the duplicate name link has been given the boot, leaving just the "profile" link. The top bar gets some further tidying thanks to an "account" drop-down menu that combines settings and log-in options. The left side bar is also getting cleaned up a bit -- ditching the "more" button and the endless string of various news feed viewing formats. Instead, those options will be trimmed to include basics like the standard news feed or photos, and users will be given a bookmark bar for quick links to groups, apps, and the like. The bottom navigation bar has been cut almost completely, leaving only the chat box in the bottom right hand corner.
Even we're growing a little weary of the constant Facebook redesigns. It's not that we don't think the changes are for the better, it would just be nice not to have to relearn how to navigate the site every couple weeks. You can check out the two screen shots of the supposed redesigns below. [From: GigaOM]

I've given up on Facebook. Every time I try to access, it says "incorrect password or E-mail". So I quit messing with it. Anything THAT hard to get into, isn't worth the frustration.

I love when dumb people use the wrong email or password and then blame the program.

Happened to me, too...so I had to make a new page and now I have a dead one floating around out there..I hate that...but the same thing happened on Myspace, so it's not just Facebook that has that problem.

Facebook is a bit of fluff to pass spare time. I enjoy it, but if it vanished today, I would not miss it at all.

Personally, I welcome the changes... Change usually means growth... and FB is growing by the millions!!! Change is also "challenging " to the brain... which is GOOD thing!
Adapt... fellow FaceBookers!

#1) Spoken like a true spammer.
#2) I am quite the lover of change.
#3) I am happy that in all these years people can still jump back and find me on the same email I had 12 years ago.
#4) I have 4 email addresses. DUH.

who are YOU to judge anyone who uses AOL? maybe they actually LIKE it. you have no clue what goes on in other people's thought processes so stop judging them. there are more ways to do your stupid changing than to dump aol. loser.

My Facebook has been like this for about 2 weeks now. Without any warning it was changed. The only problems I have found with this new format is.. I can't find a way to bookmark anything, Maybe I just havent found it... which is a possibility.. and the other thing that can be annoying is.. everytime you want to go to a different bookmark.. you have to go back home now.. seeing thatthe bookmarks are on the front page now.

It's hard to believe that computer-savvy people still use AOL... The only reason for this is that they must have an aversion to "change". Change is growth... don't stay stunted... GROW.

I'm sorry but I hate facebook I wish they got rid off it. Ever since I have used FACEBOOK it gave me MORE PROBLEMS on my PC.
Through Facebook my PC got attack by a nasty virus - thanks FACEBOOK.
Then secondly I had call the police because someone from FACEBOOK was using my indentity (Indentity fraud) to withdraw money from my bank.
You know I really don't care what people say that FACEBOOK is great - to me FACEBOOK is a NIGHTMARE - I hate FACEBOOK! FACEBOOK lucky I didn't sue them.
